All gifts made on Giving Day, no matter the area they support, will be matched by an anonymous donor to our new Cancer Discovery Fund.
Did you know that cancer is the second leading cause of death in Tennessee? The CDC reports that Tennessee has the 21st highest cancer incidence rate and the sixth highest cancer mortality rate in the U.S.
UT Health Science Center is dedicated to researching new discoveries and better treatment options for patients with cancer across Tennessee and beyond. For Giving Day 2025, we have created a new fund called the Cancer Discovery Fund.
Dollars in this fund will be awarded to faculty and students who want to conduct cancer research. The new grant program to distribute these research dollars will be spearheaded by Vice Chancellor for Research Jessica Snowden, MD.
Help us find the cures of tomorrow today by participating in our 5th Annual Giving Day. By making a gift to any area on campus, you're helping increase our vital cancer research at the same time.
